ED 800 - Concepts of Educational Inquiry
Instructor: S. Weiland

This course was the foundational course taken by all MAED students at Michigan State University.  The goal of the course is to study the foundations of educational theories and doctrines in the United States.  Through the course of following educational doctrines, we also considered the concept of educational inquiry and "best practices" for teachers.  The class concluded with a final paper addressing my beliefs about educational inquiry along with a discussion of lessons learned from Vivian Paley in her book, The Girl with the Brown Crayon.
